Meet Aurelia T – Our Dream Yacht!

Aurelia T is a 2016 Beneteau Oceanis 55, built in France and originally owned by her first keeper in 2017, where she sailed the beautiful west coast of Scotland.

Our journey with Aurelia T started in March 2023 when we first laid eyes on her—and it was love at first sight! Unfortunately, with our house sale still pending, we couldn’t put in an offer, and before we knew it, she was sold. Gutted!!!

From that moment on, no other boat compared. Every yacht we viewed just didn’t tick the right boxes. In May 2024, we finally decided to go for a Dufour 512—it wasn’t Aurelia T, but it was the closest match. Then, in a twist of fate, the day before we were about to put in an offer, we got a call from Sunbird in Ardrossan. Aurelia T was back on the market and the owner was open to offers. Without hesitation, we raced up to view her again, and made our move. Our offer was accepted, and ever since, we’ve been pinching ourselves—we actually own this incredible yacht!

She is the four cabin version, two heads and the forward Crew Cabin as storage. She sleeps eight comfortably but if using the saloon this increases to 10
